Life Science Web Service (LSWS) is a collaboration between the Scientific Data Analysis Lab, the Pervasive Technology Lab at Indiana University, and the Mooney Laboratory in the Buck Institute. This collaboration strives to enable data integration and collaboration across disciplines using a Web services infrastructure. We have initially built several Web services for the analysis of protein structure. Using UCSF Chimera, users can visualize mutations on protein structures (MutDB) and perform functional analysis of protein structures using residue environments (S-BLEST).
